"For No One" es una canción escrita por Paul McCartney, aunque se atribuye a Lennon y McCartney y forma parte del séptimo álbum de los Beatles, Revolver. La canción describe una relación que termina abruptamente. El título original de la canción fue Why Did It Die? ("¿Por qué se murió?"), en clara referencia a la relación que tuvo Paul con la actriz británica Jane Asher, con la que estuvo a punto de casarse. Y como de todas las crisis salen cosas buenas y siempre son inspiración para los artistas, aquí va una buena muestra de ello.
